Parade begins at 1PM: 6019 Lausche Ave  Cleveland, OH 44103

Parade Route: Will stretch through the neighborhood from St. Vitus Church on Lausche Ave to the Slovenian National Home on St. Clair. The procession will include Kurents as well as groups in traditional dress from across Eastern Europe.

Transformer Station Opens in OHC

After months of excitement and buildup, Fred and Laura Bidwell opened their Transformer Station in partnership with the Cleveland Museum of Art. Located on W. 29th Street in Ohio City, the Transformation Station brings clean lines and contemporary artwork to the repurposed trolley car power station. The opening of the Transformer Station is also the first time the Cleveland Museum of Art has opened a location west of the Cuyahoga River.  Read more »

Aquarium Celebrates 1st Birthday!

On January 21st, the Greater Cleveland Aquarium celebrated its first year of operation. Congratulations GCA! The GCA is one of the most unique aquariums in the country. It is housed in the FirstEnergy Powerhouse and is one of Cleveland's finest examples of adaptive reuse. Additionally, the GCA signifiies the rebirth of The Flats and coincides exceptionally with the influx of development that is occuring. 

Healthy CLE Wellness Challenge

On Monday, January 14, fitness-eager participants embarked on the three-month Second District Healthy Cleveland Wellness Challange. The Challenge was conceived when Second District Police Commander Keith Sulzer was discussing a similar fitness challenge with Linda Litto. Together, the two came to Councilman Cimperman for his support and assistance. Councilman Cimperman saw this as one of the many ways Healthy CLE can improve the well-bring of Cleveland residents.  Read more »
